What this policy covers
AsylumStats is operated by an individual sole proprietor in Florida, USA. Support is available at [email protected]. Site accounts are currently free, and there is no paid site checkout. This policy states the terms for future paid site purchases; it does not announce a launch or price.
Developer API products are separate. Their purchase terms and developer billing controls govern API subscriptions. This site policy does not replace a different API refund offer. Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over either policy.
Price, taxes, and monthly renewal
Before purchase, we show the price, currency, included features, billing period, applicable taxes, and recurring-payment terms. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You must expressly choose a paid purchase; signing up for a free account does not authorize a charge. Stripe handles payments.
We notify you before a future renewal price changes so you can cancel. This policy does not offer annual billing, a trial, or a discount unless the purchase screen expressly includes it.
How to cancel
Use the subscription’s billing controls to stop renewal before the next charge. If a control is unavailable or fails, email [email protected] with your account email and the plan to cancel. We will help stop future renewal; you do not need to explain your immigration situation.
Cancellation normally leaves paid access available through the paid-through date shown in billing, then the account returns to its free features. It does not itself refund an earlier payment. Save the cancellation confirmation. Deleting browser data, signing out, or stopping use does not cancel a subscription. Account deletion is a separate privacy action.
First purchase: 14 days to request a refund
You may request a full refund of your first paid site-plan purchase within 14 calendar days after payment, even if you used the service. Email [email protected] from the account email, with the purchase date and receipt or invoice identifier. Do not send full card details, an A-number, or case documents.
A full refund ends paid access when we process it and stops that subscription’s future renewals. Your free account and public statistics remain available. We return the payment, including taxes collected on that refunded charge, to the original payment method. Bank and processor posting times vary; we will confirm the outcome and help trace a missing refund.
Renewals and other refunds
After the first-purchase window, monthly payments and renewals are normally not refundable just because you stop using the service or cancel partway through a period. This does not limit refunds required by law or remedies for an incorrect charge or a service we failed to provide.
Contact us about duplicate, mistaken, or unauthorized charges, or a paid feature that did not work as promised. If we discontinue a paid service, we will stop renewal and refund the unused prepaid portion. Any approved partial refund and its effect on access will be explained before processing.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
Contact support if you want help resolving a charge. You may also use your bank’s or payment provider’s dispute process; contacting us first is not required to exercise that right. We may provide relevant transaction and service records to resolve a dispute. Access connected to an unpaid or reversed charge may be paused while it is reviewed. We do not charge a penalty merely for raising a good-faith dispute.
Your rights and policy changes
Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, and warranty rights under applicable law are preserved. Florida law governs subject to those protections, as described in the Terms of Use. Nothing here asks you to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
We publish changes with a new date and version and give notice of material changes affecting a subscription. A later policy will not remove refund rights that applied when you bought the service. Questions: [email protected].
