Who operates this site
AsylumStats operates asylumstats.com, also called Asylum Tracker. The operator is an individual sole proprietor in Florida, USA. In these terms, “we” means that operator and “you” means the person using the service. Contact us at [email protected].
These terms cover the public website and site accounts. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. A purchase also includes the offer and cancellation and refund policy shown before payment. Mandatory rights under the law where you live still apply.
Statistics, not legal advice
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or representation. Using the site or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are independent and are not affiliated with EOIR, USCIS, DOJ, or DHS.
Statistics describe groups and past records. They do not predict your result, eligibility, work authorization, hearing date, or place in a queue. Do not use a rate or planner reminder to decide whether to file, attend a hearing, or meet a legal deadline. Check official notices and agency records, and speak with an immigration attorney or DOJ-accredited representative for personal advice.
Sources and accuracy
We organize public records and publications from EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and the U.S. Department of State, with source links and reporting dates. Agency records may be incomplete, delayed, revised, or incorrect. Our imports and calculations can also contain errors. An unavailable figure does not mean zero.
Read each page’s method, date range, sample limits, and source. Historical outcomes are not live case information. We do not guarantee completeness, uninterrupted access, a fixed update schedule, or suitability for a particular purpose. Report possible errors with the page URL and the public source; leave out private case details.
Accounts and sign-in
An account is optional. Public statistics and the browser-based case planner can be used without one. Use an email address you control, give accurate account information, and protect your inbox, device, and sign-in provider account. Do not share access or impersonate another person.
Sign in with an email magic link or Google when offered. Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook may be added; the sign-in screen shows the available methods. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to their services. We do not receive your provider password. Tell us promptly if you suspect someone has accessed your account.
Site accounts are currently free. Saved items and preferences depend on the features available in your account. A coming-soon label is not a promise of delivery. Optional alert preferences do not mean that alert delivery or case reminder emails are available.
Keep sensitive case information private
We do not ask you to send us A-numbers or immigration documents, and we do not want them. Do not put them in support messages, account names, or uploads. Any A-number or notes you choose to enter in the local planner stay in your browser.
Case planner data stays in your browser unless you explicitly turn on an available sync feature. There is currently no case-upload control in the site interface. Optional sync accepts only selected court, judge and nationality codes, hearing type and dates, hearing time, and fixed checklist choices. It never stores the A-number, notes, or documents.
Browser data may be read by someone using your device and may be lost when storage is cleared. Export and protect your own copy. Calendar exports are snapshots; reminders depend on your browser or calendar settings and are not guaranteed. The planner does not file documents, contact an agency, or change a deadline.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls or quotas, share or steal API keys, send malicious code, or interfere with other users.
Do not try to identify people in aggregate data, reverse small-sample protections, combine outputs to uncover suppressed records, or use the service to target or harass someone. Do not scrape or bulk-extract data beyond what the published API terms allow. Ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages is allowed under our crawler rules.
You may cite and link to public statistics with the source, reporting period, and relevant limits. Public government facts remain subject to their source rules; these terms do not give us exclusive ownership of those facts. Our original text, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Do not imply our endorsement or an agency’s endorsement.
Paid plans, when offered
There is currently no paid site checkout. If we offer a paid site plan, the purchase screen will state its price, currency, features, limits, billing period, and any applicable taxes before you pay. A free account does not automatically become paid. Site plans and developer API plans are separate products.
Monthly subscriptions renew each month until canceled. By confirming a subscription purchase, you authorize the disclosed recurring charges through Stripe. We will give advance notice of price changes, which apply to a future renewal, so you can cancel before they take effect. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes.
Cancel before the next renewal using the billing controls supplied with the paid service, or contact [email protected] if you need help. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally preserves access until the paid-through date. Our first-purchase refund policy allows a refund on request within 14 days; see the full policy for details. Nothing here limits mandatory refund or payment-dispute rights.
Developer API
API access, keys, quotas, and API subscriptions also have separate developer terms in the developer portal. Review those terms before creating a key or purchasing API access. A site subscription does not include paid API access unless the purchase offer expressly says so. Contact us if the terms for an API offer are unclear.
Privacy and closing an account
Our Privacy Policy explains collection, optional sync, cookies, export, and deletion. You can export account data and request deletion in My account → Data & privacy after signing in again if needed. Deletion covers the shared account, including its developer profile. Active developer keys and unresolved billing must be closed first; contact us if that blocks your request.
Deleting an account does not automatically erase browser-local planner data, downloaded files, or public agency statistics. Use the planner’s local clear action separately. Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are different actions.
Service changes and suspension
We may correct, change, or retire features and may suspend access for abuse, security threats, or serious violations of these terms. When practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us about a mistake. Urgent threats may require immediate action.
For a paid service we discontinue, we will stop future renewals and refund the unused prepaid portion. Suspension does not remove any rights you have under applicable law. We do not promise to retain a free feature forever or recover browser data we never received.
Our responsibility
We provide the service as available, with the accuracy and availability limits described above. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on statistical information or missed planner reminders.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer protection that the law does not allow us to exclude. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.
Governing law and changes
Florida law, USA, governs these terms, without its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a court available to you under the law where you live. Contact us first if you would like help resolving a concern; this is not a condition on your legal rights.
We will publish changes here with a new date and version. For material account or paid-service changes, we will give reasonable advance notice through the service or email and seek agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. You can stop using the service or cancel renewal if you do not accept new terms.
Questions or support
Email [email protected] for account, privacy, cancellation, or refund help. Include only the information needed to explain the issue. Never send A-numbers, immigration documents, passwords, magic links, or full card details.
